What People Are Saying...

I purchased one of your mugs at the NY Renaissance Festival yesterday. I was quite captured with the golden/brown color and the waves of wheat that run vertically all around. I chose the larger size for a lady of mine to enjoy her morning coffee in something worthy of her importance to me...and more in line with her kitchen decor. My Lady truly loves the mug just as it is and would like another exactly the same.

I was so excited to get home and unwrap all my pottery. I cleaned out my glasses closet and made special room and put them right up front. Seeing them when I open my cabinet make me feel wonderful and timeless and I feel like I can connect back to ancient times of the world when all was different. Someday I would like to order and purchase a whole dish set from you in the future. Thank you for your beautiful creations that you put your heart and soul into. I find myself becoming curious as to what towns they were created in when I look at each piece as I know you are on the road. I appreciate them so much and It was so wonderful to meet an inspirational person that I admire.

I commissioned you to make a teapot with oriental teacups. They were in that awesome blue/black coloring of yours. I did look at all the other shops that did pottery within Scarborough this past 2010 season. Not one of them had the skill nor 'styling' as I prefer to call it, in making the teapot and cups I desired. Nor would any attempt it just in such a small scale. You did this because I noted you already had one teapot in your stock you designed and was fairly close if not perfect to what I had in mind. Let me say it has been my pleasure to use and showoff this work of art and say where I purchased it. Besides the story behind the pieces is what makes it more personal to me. I have had many compliments on the setting and enjoyment to use.

Today I received the most wonderful Christmas present. My sister-in-law must have been taking notes when we were discussing my childhood at NYRF. Growing up there from 0-13 I was reared on the senses, on how anything and everything beautiful can change and make your day. I'd been reminiscing and looking at all the new artisans and fell in love with your beautiful work and admiringly sent her the link.
The mug she sent was one of your shorter ones. A brown glaze at the bottom and a blue/green at the top. It's perfect. Not too big, not too small. The perfect mug to wrap your hand and yourself around. I can think of no better way to spend a cold evening than enjoying a warm beverage with a warm soul, and I know it sounds strange but that mug makes me feel warm, cozy. I'd like to purchase another so I might share the feeling. I'm not looking for one that matches - isn't it all the more charming when dishes don't? But I would like one that is the same shape.
Thanks very much for making my 30 below winter that much warmer!

I love my mug!  It goes everywhere with me and I get lots of compliments! Its kinda like my security blanket now that I’m an adult.

The teapot is awesome!  I use your smaller mug at work already and people are always complimenting it. I'm sure when I switch to the large mug and teapot; it's definitely going to get some attention. :) Thanks for the quick turnaround!  I didn't expect to see this until Faire!!!

My friends and I saw you at the Renaissance Faire in New York and my friend commissioned you to make a huge vase for me.  It arrived and it is stunningly gorgeous.  Thank you! Can you make another one?  My friend fell in love with it too and I'd like to give her one as a going away gift.
